Why “Pianola”Warum „Pianola“

Around 1900, the pianola played without a pianist. A punched paper roll decided which piece it played, so no one built a new piano for every tune. Um 1900 spielte das Pianola ohne Pianisten. Eine gelochte Papierrolle bestimmte das Stück, und niemand baute für jede Melodie ein neues Klavier.

Pianola works the same way: one core, fed with a different configuration for every client. Pianola funktioniert genauso: ein Kern, gespeist mit einer eigenen Konfiguration für jeden Kunden.
